Hosting of a professor from TRAMA (Transport, Mobility and Planning) at the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) in Brazil
Three months ago, we welcomed Professor Verônica Castelo Branco, coordinator of the TRAMA (Transports, Mobilité et Aménagement) research group attached to the Federal University of Ceará (UFC) in Brazil, to the EASE laboratory, as part of her scientific mission at the Gustave Eiffel University.
During her stay in Nantes, the professor visited the EASE laboratory facilities, took part in several working meetings and presented the TRAMA group's current research to the Nantes and Lyon teams.
The visit provided an opportunity to strengthen our cooperation around common themes such as sustainable mobility, transport infrastructures and environmental impact.
Two TRAMA students recently completed research internships in our laboratory.
🍃 Marília Ribeiro worked on the selection of leaf micromorphological parameters for the capture of air pollutants in urban green corridors.
🚗 Sebastian Buitrago studied non-combustion-related emissions from tire-road contact, with a comparative analysis of electric and internal combustion vehicles.
These rich exchanges testify to the importance of international scientific partnerships in tackling environmental challenges and sustainable urban mobility together.
