Home of the Navya autonomous shuttle for testing on the reference track

Between October 2021 and March 2022, the AME/EASE laboratory is conducting experiments on the Nantes Reference Runway (PRER) to evaluate the braking distances of the NAVYA Shuttle under different environmental conditions (on wet roads in particular), in order to estimate the safety of the shuttles that will be deployed in the territories. The Nantes runways have about 15 different surfaces to cover the full range of performance levels encountered as well as an autonomous wetting system used to degrade traffic conditions."
